Child Image Privacy & Safety

At Clear Blessings Photography, I believe beautiful memories can be shared while still respecting the privacy and safety of the children I photograph.

As a photographer, especially one who works with newborns, children, seniors, and families, I take the responsibility of sharing images of minors seriously. I want parents to feel comfortable knowing that their child's privacy matters just as much to me as creating beautiful photographs for their family.

You Always Have a Choice

Your photography agreement includes a media release that allows Clear Blessings Photography to share selected images for portfolio, website, social media, and marketing purposes.

*Participation in the media release is completely optional, and you may choose to opt out.*

Choosing not to sign the media release will never affect your session experience, the care given to your family, or the quality of the images you receive.

If you do provide permission, I will still be thoughtful and selective about the images I share, particularly when those images include newborns or children. Permission to share does not mean every image from your gallery will be posted publicly.

Protecting Personal Information

When I share images of children publicly, I intentionally limit identifying information. I do not include a child's full name, school, daycare, home address, birth details, or other information that could unnecessarily identify or locate them.

I also avoid sharing a family's location in real time.

Thoughtful Image Selection

Not every photograph that is appropriate for a family's private gallery needs to be shared publicly.

Images selected for my website, portfolio, or social media are chosen carefully with a child's privacy and dignity in mind. I am especially selective when sharing newborn and young children's images.

Social Media & Online Sharing

I primarily use social media to showcase my photography and help families see what they can expect when choosing Clear Blessings Photography. Because anything shared publicly online has the potential to be saved, copied, or redistributed, I am intentional about what I choose to share.

While no photographer or parent can completely control what happens to an image once it is publicly available online, I believe we can take reasonable steps to reduce unnecessary exposure.

Your Child Comes Before My Portfolio

My portfolio is important to my small business, but a parent's comfort with their child's images is more important.

If at any time you have questions or concerns about how an image of your child may be used, please reach out. I want every family who trusts me with their memories to feel respected, informed, and comfortable.
